Application Process

1. Surface Preparation

For Fresh/New Surfaces: Allow the surface to cure properly. Remove all loose dust, grease, fungus, and algae by washing with water and allow to dry completely.

For Previously Painted Surfaces: Strip all old paint and remove all loose dust, grease, fungus, and algae by thorough washing. Repair any cracks, holes, or surface imperfections using suitable crack filler and putty. Allow repaired areas to dry completely before proceeding.

2. Protection of Adjacent Areas

Cover windows, doors, switchboards, and other fixtures with protective plastic sheets to prevent paint spillage. Protect floors and adjacent surfaces from paint drops.

3. Priming

Apply 1-2 coats of recommended exterior primer (such as Berger Seal O Prime) for optimal adhesion and enhanced paint durability. For surfaces requiring waterproofing, use specialized priming coats as recommended. Allow the primer coat to dry completely before proceeding with paint application.

4. Paint Application

Apply the first coat evenly using brush, roller, or spray application. Ensure uniform spreading to activate the crack-bridging properties and avoid patchiness. The elastomeric formulation will help conceal hairline cracks during application. Allow adequate drying time (typically 3-4 hours between coats under normal conditions).

5. Final Finishing

Apply the second coat to achieve optimum color depth, superior protection, and finish uniformity. For surfaces with significant crack issues or for maximum durability, consider applying a third coat. Ensure environmental conditions such as temperature and humidity are suitable during application and drying for best results.

6. Safety & Maintenance

If paint comes in contact with eyes or skin, flush with large amounts of water for at least 15 minutes. Wash affected skin areas with soap and water. See a physician if irritation persists. Store unused paint in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
